Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your store

Vitals now runs an MCP server. Connect your AI assistant and ask about your sessions, reviews, upsells, wishlists and campaigns in plain language. It reads across every Vitals app, read-only, and it is included in your plan.

What you can ask it

Anything you would otherwise go digging for in a dashboard. The assistant picks the right Vitals tool on its own and comes back with your numbers.

• “How much revenue did my upsell offers bring in this month?”

Session recordings were the request we heard most. Merchants kept asking support for a way to download them so they could run them through ChatGPT. Now the journey comes across as text the assistant can actually read, no download needed.

Read-only, on purpose

Every tool in this first version reads. None of them write. The assistant cannot edit a product, change a setting, publish an offer or send a campaign, because no tool exists that would let it.

• You approve the connection yourself in Vitals Preferences, and the screen lists every permission before you agree.
• Permissions are scoped per app. Access to your reviews is not access to your replays.
• Remove the connection in Preferences and it stops working straight away.

How to connect

1. 01Open Preferences in Vitals.
2. 02Pick Claude or ChatGPT.
3. 03Read the permission list and approve it. That is it, you can start asking questions.
