Delivery Date mode in Shipping Information
Shipping Information now has a Delivery Date mode that shows customers an estimated delivery date range on the product page instead of zone-based rate text, so a shopper sees when the order arrives rather than what shipping band it falls into.
Until now, the app calculated estimates from shipping zones, a setup many merchants never finished configuring.
What you can do
Set your processing time in business days, using 0 for same-day, and a daily cut-off hour after which orders roll to the next business day. Set your shipping time as a minimum and maximum number of business days for carrier delivery, and turn on weekend shipping or weekend delivery if you work weekends. You can also add a live countdown message, which hides itself after the cut-off, a free-shipping message, and appearance settings for accent color, background, text color, and corner radius.
How it works
The widget adds processing time to shipping time and applies your daily cut-off in your shop's time zone. The cut-off fires on your local clock, not the customer's, with nothing to configure for that.
