Classic page template in the AI Page Builder
The AI Page Builder has a new page template called Classic: a clean, theme-independent product page built on the Vitals Product Info section, with highlight labels, benefit bullets, product tabs, and a white background.
Until now, generated pages followed the Theme Match template, which is still available and is not going away.
What this means for you
What you see depends on your shop. If you have not generated any pages yet, nothing looks different and new generations simply use Classic. If you have generated pages before, a Page template choice now appears on the Choose product step, with Classic pre-selected and Theme Match as the alternative. Store Builder shops with the SB theme active choose between Store Builder, pre-selected and working as before with auto-publish, and Classic.
How it works
Existing generated pages never change, either from this release or from switching the template. The choice only affects new generations. Each page remembers the template it was generated with, so publishing an older draft from the Generated product pages list uses that page's original template rather than the current default.
The names differ between surfaces: the Vitals admin says Classic, Theme Match, and Store Builder, while the Shopify theme editor shows the files as product.vitals-ai-page-classic and product.vitals-ai-generated-page-converter. They are the same things.
