AI reviews summary on the Product Reviews main widget

Product Reviews can now generate a summary of a product's reviews and display it on the main reviews widget, so a shopper who will not read thirty reviews still gets the sense of them.

Until now, the widget showed the reviews and the rating, and reading them was the only way to get an overview.

What's new

A setting called Show AI reviews summary controls this. It is off by default, so the summary appears only once you enable it. The reviews list page in your admin shows a preview of the summary for each product that has one.

How it works

A summary is generated only for products with at least 5 approved reviews. Once generated, it regenerates every 14 days, so it keeps pace with newer reviews without you doing anything.
