The mark is the orb plus the wordmark vitals set in Geist 800, lowercase, tightly tracked. Four canonical surfaces. The wordmark is locked. Never re-typeset, never re-spaced. We use the low-density orb (D2) everywhere. Never anything denser, even at large sizes.
At 32 px the full orb turns to mush. The favicon uses an even sparser sphere. Circle, two meridians, one latitude. Same silhouette, optimised for a busy browser bar.
Used for: browser tab, PWA tile, Slack avatar, GitHub avatar. Anywhere the regular orb would crowd at small sizes.
Four 22%-rounded tiles. The Shopify App Store renders icons large enough to carry the full orb at low density. Ink is the recommended primary. Orange orb on near-black is the most arresting tile in the category. The other three are sanctioned variants for different contexts.
Three colors. That's the whole brand. Ink for type. Cream for everything else. Orange only for the orb itself and the rare moments that need to glow.
Rule of thumb: Cream and Ink carry 95% of the work. Orange is the spotlight. Only where something has to glow. If everything is orange, nothing is.
